He was married to CLARA D. ABRAMS on 3 Mar 1892 in DOUGLAS TOWNSHIP, MADISON CO. IOWA. CLARA D. ABRAMS was born on 7 Aug 1870 in DOUGLAS TOWNSHIP, MADISON CO. IOWA. She died on 3 Oct 1951 in WINTERSET, MADISON CO, IOWA. Clara was the daughter of David and Lyda (James) Abrams. She was born on
the family farm in Douglas Township in 1870. Clara was an active member
of the Church of Christ and of the Women's Relief Corps. Clara had been
in poor health for several months before she passed away in October of
1951. She is buried at the Winterset Cemetery, Winterset, Madison
County, Iowa.
