191. BERTIE ELLEN HARTSOOK was born on 5 Aug 1876 in MADISON COUNTY, IOWA. She died on 13 May 1959. Bertie's nickname was Nellie.

She was married to FRANK E. BELL on 27 Feb 1901 in MADISON COUNTY, IOWA. FRANK E. BELL was born in Mar 1876 in MADISON COUNTY, IOWA. The 1900 Census of Madison County, Iowa, lists Frank, his parents and
siblings. His father was Jasper N. Bell, born in Ohio, May of 1848, his
age as 52 and his occupation as farmer. Frank's mother, Anna L., born in
Ohio, in November of 1850, age 49. His sisters, Berdie C., born in Iowa,
October of 1872, age 27, she married Simon W. Fox in Madison County and
Blanche, born in Iowa, March of 1882 and 18 years of age, and his
brother, Carl, born in Iowa, September, 1878, age 21 years. It also
indicated that both of Franks sets of grandparents were born in Ohio. At
one time, Frank operated the farm of William Hartsook.
