182. CLAUDE W. WIGHT was born on 27 Apr 1876 in WEBSTER TOWNSHIP, MADISON CO. IOWA. He died on 12 Jan 1952 in MONTEREY PARK, LOS ANGELES CO. CALIFORNIA. Claude and Tina were married at the U.E. Parsonage, with H. A. Smook
performing their marriage ceremony and Suzie and Homer Smook as
witnesses. After their marriage, Claud and Tina lived in Winterset and
he worked as a real estate agent. The 1900 Census of Madison County,
Iowa, shows Claude to be 23 years old and a farmer. Living with him, his
wife, Tina, age 20. They later moved to Des Moines, Iowa and in about
1935, moved to Pasadena, California. Claude suffered from the
complications of diabetes for over two years before passing away at
seventy-four years of age at his home in Monterey Park, California.

He was married to CHRISTINA MAY KRELL on 5 Mar 1899 in WEBSTER TOWNSHIP, MADISON CO. IOWA. CHRISTINA MAY KRELL was born on 17 Nov 1879 in MADISON COUNTY, IOWA. She died on 9 Jan 1960 in PASADENA, LOS ANGELES CO. CALIFORNIA. Christina went by the nickname of Tina. She was the daughter of John H.
and Mary (Wissler) Kreel. Tina's mother, Mary died on February 14, 1900
at 58 years of age in Webster Township, Madison County, of paralysis of
the nerves. The 1900 Census of Madison County, Iowa, shows Tina's father
John Kreel, and her brother Franklin Kreel, living with her and Claude.
John was listed as a retired farmer, was 60 years old, born in October
of 1839, in Germany, and her brother, Franklin, 27, born February, 1873,
in Iowa, was listed as a farmer. Tina's brother John, married Cora B.
Hart in Madison County on March 7, 1894 and her brother Dayton, married
Bertha Hart in Madison County on March 17 1892. Tina passed away in 1899
and is buried at the Pleasant view Cemetery, Madison County, Iowa.
