SIXTH GENERATION

445. JUDY LEE WIGHT was born on 5 Jun 1941 in SOUTH GATE, LOS ANGELES CO. CALIFORNIA. Judy, born in South Gate, Calif., lived in Los Angeles. Calif. during the
early 1940's. While her father was in the U.S. Army, she and her mother
lived in Birmingham, Alabama for a few years. Upon returning to Calif.,
Judy's parents settled in Costa Mesa, Calif. She attended 1st through
5th grades at Lindburgh Elementary School in Costa Mesa, 6th grade in
Lakewood, Calif., 7th grade at Lakewood Jr. High School, 8th grade in
Phoenix, Az., 9th grade at Pueblo High School in Tucson, Az., and
finished high school in Norwalk, Calif., at Excelsior High School, where
she graduated in 1959. That same year she married for the first time,
living in Norwalk, Calif., and had three children from that marriage,
Bill, Janice and Teresa. In 1971, she started working for General
Telephone Company of California, and worked at various offices,
including, Westminster, Huntington Beach, Long Beach, Torrance, Downey
and several more. In 1975 she and her first husband were divorced, after
16 years of marriage. In January of 1981, Judy married for the second
time. She continued working for G.T.C. and after 22 years of service,
retired in May of 1993. She and her husband Wayne, who had retired in
from G.T.E. in 1991 , moved to Prescott, Arizona on May 31, 1993. For
three years after moving to Prescott, she worked in an antique shop and
maintained three booths, selling antiques and collectibles. Judy took
several classes in Prescott history and the geology of Prescott and the
surrounding areas. In December of 1997, while deciding what she wanted
to be next, Judy decided on family history research and that takes us up
to today. What started as a "hobby", has turned into a full time job and
she loves every minute of it.

She was married to F. DAN MCMILLIAN on 4 Jul 1959 in LAS VEGAS, CLARK CO. NEVADA. F. DAN MCMILLIAN was born on 15 Mar 1938 in FORDLAND, WEBSTER CO. MISSOURI. JUDY LEE WIGHT and F. DAN MCMILLIAN had the following children:

She was married to WAYNE RUSSELL BRANSON on 24 Jan 1981 in LAS VEGAS, CLARK CO. NEVADA. WAYNE RUSSELL BRANSON was born on 17 Feb 1938 in COALINGA, FRESNO CO. CALIFORNIA. After graduating from Redondo Beach High School , Redondo Beach,
California, Wayne worked for about a year in Weaverville, California.
There he worked at a barite mine driving a dump truck, operating a
caterpillar and doing just about anything else that needed to be done.
After that, he worked for a distributor for the Los Angeles Times
newspaper for a few months. In February of 1957, he went to work for
General Telephone Company of California. He worked for them for 34 years
before retiring in December of 1991. Wayne and his wife Judy moved to
Prescott, Arizona, May 31, 1993. In Prescott, Wayne worked for several
months at Ruger Investment and Casting, making golf clubs. He also
worked for over a year at Tesoro Electronics, making metal detectors,
before retiring August of 1997 and finally getting to do what he wants to
when he wants to.
